Property Description

Welcome to Holiday Haven, a comfy house at a great location in popular North Haven. All you need is right here at your doorstep. Bowling Club next door, 300 meters walk to River foreshore cafes, shops and restaurants. North Haven beach 15-20 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive. Plenty for boats, ramp 400 meters away. Great getaway for couples and families. Free WIFI, smart TV, comfy lounge, kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, electric stove. Sorry no pets, no smoking. Linen provided.

Linen is provided, all beds are made up for your convenience. Simply rock up and relax! Please bring your own beach towels.

THE SPACE / LAYOUT
Enter the house via downstairs hallway and garage. Make your way up the stairs case to living area on first floor. The heart of the house is the main lounge room which open up to front balcony. Adjacent to lounge room is kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet. Master bedroom down the hallway overlooking the back yard, facing the river (no longer river glimpses as trees have grown, yet you can still hear the ocean from time to time). On other side of lounge room is second bedroom. Downstairs is laundry with washing machine and dryer. Downstairs has a covered carport with automatic garage roller door. Large level green back yard and spacious front yard.

Plenty of parking on driveway and free street parking. Please do not park on neighbours property.

Levelled back and front yard, not fully fenced, opens up to front.

NO PETS
Sorry, no pets. We have many other pet friendly properties, please filter on ‘pet friendly’, or chat to us about your needs.

NO SMOKING
No smoking on the property please.

THE AREA
North haven and Camden Haven area are all about the river, beach, outdoor lifestyle and gourmet, locally sourced fresh food. A fisherman’s galore with the river and break wall at your doorstep. Kids love roaming around on the sand backs at low tide. Short drive to Queens lake (750 meters), Laurieton and Dunbogan. North Haven beach with its surf break 1.3 kilometres away. Enjoy the whales passing by during their migration from May-November.

No schoolies groups, bucks or hens parties, large loud adult groups, events.
Quite time from 10pm-7am, please keep our neighbours happy. Guests that do not adhere to the house rules will have their full bond forfeited.

How to reach the property

FROM SYDNEY / SOUTH
take the M1 North towards Newcastle/Taree/Brisbane. Take the Kew/Laurieton exit and start following coastal route 10. You will pass through Lakewood (big supermarket on your left), at Laurieton take a left towards North Haven/Bonny Hills/Port Macquarie. Go over North Haven bridge - continue along Ocean Drive until you come to a roundabout. Take a left at the round about and then first right into Cook Street, the house is on your right hand side. Park on the driveway and get the key from the lock box. You will receive the code via SMS on the day of arrival. FROM BRISBANE / NORTH
Take the M1 South til Lake Cathie/Bonny Hills exit, about 30km South of Port Macquarie. Follow the signs to Bonny Hills and keep driving on Ocean Drive till North Haven, and turn left into Cook street just before the round about. The house is on your right. Park and get the key from the lock box. You will receive the code via SMS on the day of arrival.

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 300.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks

Common sense applies i.e. keep the property tidy upon departure, notify us of any damages, excess (cleaning) charges may apply when rules are not met.
