LAYOUT
Upstairs is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home available to guests, totally self-contained with main entrance, front, side gardens, patio and fire pit area. Shared laundry downstairs. Shared downstairs back yard.

Downstairs self-contained unit with separate entrance is used by the property owner and little dachshund Billy on occasion when they are not travelling. The back yard, bin area and laundry is shared. During winter months you have the house predominantly to yourselves. Note Billy will not be left home alone in the shared back yard.

THE SPACE
Beautiful Spanish style provincial home with bohemian look and feel on a spacious corner block. White, terracotta, beautiful sandstone and mosaic tiles dominate the outdoors areas. Artisan craftsmanship to admire both inside and out, you will move through the various spaces with a sense of adventure, it is a delight to discover all this quality home has to offer. Multiple outdoor decks to catch the morning and afternoon sun. The bathroom has a unique pebble stone bath to soak the day away or just sit by the choice of outdoor fire pits.
Comfort, simplicity and convenience rule. You will find a fully functioning house with proper furniture. Free WIFI, Smart TVs, Kaffee coffee machine, Weber BBQ, fresh linen, well stocked pantry for a care free stay.

LINEN PROVIDED
Linen is provided, Your beds are made, no need to do chores upon arrival, all you need to do is rock up and enjoy yourselves, please bring your own beach towels.

THE AREA
Kids park around the corner with swings and keep an eye out for the resident koala amongst the trees. 10 minute walk to Shelly Beach, Sea Acres Rainforest Reserve and local takeaway/corner shop. Port Macquarie CBD 7 minutes drive.

No small puppies under 5 months old, and no cats please. Pets are not allowed on lounges and beds, please clean up after your pet. Thank you for your understanding. This way we can keep offering great pet friendly accommodation where pets stay for free.

OTHER
We cater to couples and small families. Property not suitable for guests under 18 years of age, schoolies, student and young adult groups, schoolies, uni-groups, loud adult groups, hens or bucks crowds to keep our neighbours happy as property is located in a quiet street. Young adults are considered 17-27 years of age. We have other properties that might be suitable, just chat to us about your needs.

IMPORTANT
Downstairs back yard, bin area, and laundry is shared between the main house and downstairs unit.
During parts of the year, when not travelling, the owner (a local builder) lives downstairs with dachshund Billy. He often travels between NSW and QLD.

GETTING THERE
From Sydney/South: take the M1 towards Taree and Brisbane. Drive til the Port Macquarie exit, or for a more scenic route take the Kew exit and start following coastal route 10 towards Laurieton and Port Macquarie. At Laurieton go left and follow North Haven, Bonny Hills, Lake Cathie, Port Macquarie. In Port Macquarie follow the 'coastal route / town & beaches" route via Pacific Drive. You are getting really close. Turn left into Shelly Beach road (just before the local corner shop), then take 2nd right into Calwall Crescent, then 2nd left is Amaroo Parade, follow to the end and the house is on your right hand side on the corner of Bundaleer crescent and Amaroo Parade.

Coles supermarket is approx. 5min drive from the house and local stores about 3min drive.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

• Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
• Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
• Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.

* Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

• COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee.
