THE SPACE / LAYOUT
5 Arncliffe Avenue is a split townhouse with unit one on the left. Enter down the left of the driveway, up the stairs (7 steps) to the porch. Enjoy cooking up a storm in the well appointed kitchen with stove, oven, and microwave and clean up is a breeze with the dishwasher. The high ceilings above the kitchen allow in ample light and will make you feel right at home. The kitchen opens onto the open living and dining and further out to the balcony where you can enjoy the ocean air. Head back past the kitchen and entrance to find the bathroom with a walk in shower and the master bedroom with queen bed, ceiling fan and a built in robe.
The stairs by the front door will take you down to the ground level with bedroom 2 at the back of the house, again with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in robe. You will also find here the laundry with washing machine and an additional toilet and access to the backyard. The rumpus room is also on the ground floor with a study desk, and internal access to the garage.

RENOVATED FLOORS AND BENCHES
Please be mindful of the freshly renovated floors and make sure rolling suitcases doesnt damage them. Also be mindful to not use knives on the kitchen benches.

ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS
Managing our impact on the environment is one of our core values and is shared strongly with the property owner. For this reason all of the bathroom amenities and cleaning products have been consciously chosen.

NO PETS
Sorry no pets please. Beachscape has many pet friendly houses just filter on ‘pet friendly’ or get in touch to chat about your needs.

THE AREA
You cannot get any closer to the beach than this, it is such a luxury to just stroll across the road and be able to see dolphins riding waves and humpback whales migrating in season from May to November. Port Macquarie is all about outdoor living, beach, hiking, bush tracks, wild flowers, mountain biking, winery tours. You name it, we got it. Many uncrowded beautiful beaches and bays. The house is located on the Port Macquarie coastal walk between Town Beach and Lighthouse Beach.

OTHER
Quiet time from 10pm-7am, please keep our neighbours happy. Guests that do not adhere to the house rules will have their full bond forfeited.

IMPORTANT
You cannot check-in/check-out on Xmas day 25 December, please adapt your dates, as this is our only day off during the year. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

How to reach the property

GETTING THERE
From Sydney/South: take the M1 towards Taree and Brisbane. Drive til the Port Macquarie exit, or for a more scenic route take the Kew exit and start following coastal route 10 towards Laurieton and Port Macquarie. At Laurieton go left and follow North Haven, Bonny Hills, Lake Cathie, Port Macquarie. In Port Macquarie follow the 'coastal route / town & beaches" route via Pacific Drive. You are getting close once you pass Flynn's beach, turn left into Arncliffe Ave and the home is immediately on your right.
TIP
You pass a big Woolworths supermarket on your left at Lakewood once you get off the highway if you like to stock up on supplies while driving in. Otherwise Coles supermarket is approx. 5min drive from the house and local stores about 3min drive. Meat can be pre-ordered from Wiggly Tail butchers.

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks
