Property Description

Family oriented house on the canals, 6 beds.
Nestled on the picturesque banks of the Hastings River this house is a coastal dream to stay with grandparents, siblings and grand kids. Large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. Undercover outdoor area. Short drive to beach and Port Macquarie town centre. Four kayaks and bikes for use. Private jetty, free WIFI, Nespresso coffee machine, hooded BBQ.

THE SPACE
This sturdy home offers a bright, open oasis where white and neutral tones dominate with touches of blue. A place where you feel at home and at ease, a place you wish to come back to, a Deja Vu. Hence the name Deja Blue.

DOWNSTAIRS is and open plan living area with soaring ceilings and waters views, dining and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen opens up to the outdoor deck as well as covered indoor patio. Down the hallway is a luxurious master suite with ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet and 2 other bedrooms.
The third bedroom downstairs has a queen bed and bunk bed in adjacent rumpus. Rumpus room has a second TV and lounge area.

UPSTAIRS are two queen bedrooms and third bathroom and seperate toilet.

PARKING AND BOAT RAMP
Carport fits 2 cars, driveway fits 2 cars and free street parking. Note there is not a lot of street parking in this cul-de-sac. Please do not park on neighbours property.
Boats can be moored on the jetty at the house, launch your boat from McInherney Park boat ramp and motor to the private jetty. At low tide the water in the canal is about 7ft deep

Property not suitable to young adult groups, schoolies, student groups, large loud adult groups, hens or bucks parties. Minimum age requirement is 27 years of age. We mostly cater to families. Please keep our neighbours happy! Strictly no party policy. No trespassing on other neighbouring properties along the canals! Quiet times 10pm-7am, as noise travels over the water ways.
Guests that do not adhere to the house rules will have their full bond forfeited.

How to reach the property

GETTING THERE
OPTION 1 From Sydney/South: take the M1 towards Newcastle, Taree and Brisbane. Take the Port Macquarie exist, follow Oxley Highway towards town. After the race course (on your left) take a left into Clifton Drive, at the end of Clifton take a left onto Hastings River Drive, then take the first right into Newport Island Road (Solar shop on the corner and Settlers Inn Hotel and bottle shop on the opposite corner). Follow New Port Island road, go over a little bridge and take a left into Newport Crescent, the house is on your right at the end of the street.
OPTION 2 From Sydney and / Brisbane North: On the M1 take the Port Macquarie Hastings River Drive / Airport exit. Follow Hastings River Drive into town. Once you see the Thrifty on your left hand side slow down and take the first left into Newport Island Road (Settlers Inn Hotel and bottle shop on the corner and Telstra Business centre on the opposite corner). Follow New Port Island road, go over a little bridge and take a left into Newport Crescent, the house is on your right at the end of the street.


PARKING
Please park on the driveway. Street parking is free. Please do not park on neighbour's properties, thank you!

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 750.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks
