Town Beach is straight across the road, is patrolled, has a great surf break. Children's playground is straight across the road. Stroll to best café’s and gourmet restaurants within 5-10 minutes. Enjoy the ocean views from the front balcony. Plenty of space inside the apartment. Great for families and couples. Sorry no pets.

Taranaki Penthouse is apartment 4 located in the Taranaki building, a small block of 3 apartments at 11 Lord Street, Port Macquarie. Apartment floor covers the full top floor of the building.

THE SPACE
Walk up 2 flights of indoor stairs to reach the front door of the apartment. You will find an open plan living, all single level. The front balcony overlooks town beach. The master bedroom with ensuite also has ocean views and balcony access. Down the hallway are 3 more bedrooms and the main bathroom.
When you are not out and about in town, enjoy cooking dinner in the fully renovated modern kitchen. It is equipped with everything you need.
Two TVs, one smart TV, located in main lounge room and second TV in master bedroom. Free wifi.
Laundry with washing machine and dryer.
Linen is included your beds are made, no chores to be done on arrival, simply relax and enjoy!

WHATS IN THE NAME
Taranaki used to be a typical beach house before the apartment block was build here, you can see the historic photos inside the apartment. Taranaki: "Tara" means mountain peak in Māori, and "naki" is thought to come from ngaki, meaning "shining"; in a Port Macquarie context we can interpret this as looking at crisp breaking waves with shiny white foam! just across the road from your holiday accommodation.

How to reach the property

p>GETTING THERE
From Sydney/South: take the M1 towards Taree and Brisbane, see option 1 or 2 below.
From Brisbane/North: see option 2 below.
OPTION 1 Take the Kew exit. When taking the Kew exit Follow coastal route 10 towards Laurieton and Port Macquarie. At Laurieton go left and follow North Haven, Bonny Hills, Lake Cathie, Port Macquarie. In Port Macquarie follow the 'coastal route / town & beaches" route via Pacific Drive. You pass Shelly Beach, Nobby's Beach, Flynns Beach and then you get to Oxley and Town Beach, take a right at the round about at Lord Street, it is the 2nd building on your left. The garage is accessible via the lane around the corner, turn left take another left
OPTION 2 Take the M1 towards Port Macquarie, take the Port Macquarie exit and follow the Beaches Route. Follow 'town beach signs.

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 300.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.

    • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks
