The home is lovely and well positioned but wasn’t a good fit for our needs. PROS: • Light and airy home, close to the beach and with a lovely fenced backyard for 4 legged friends • Great shower • Great hairdryer • Lovely toiletries provided • Lovely view from upstairs • Beautiful sunny and comfortable deck • Well appointed kitchen • The projector was a fun way to watch movies and relax • Walking distance to shops and Tavern • Lovely welcome pack with wine and goodies • Very clear instructions and excellent communication • Private and comfortable second bedroom with door • Coffee machine CONS: • Although the description notes the master bedroom is open plan, we did not realise just how open plan it was until we arrived. The master bedroom has a window into the kitchen and no door and one of the walls of the bedroom hosts the stairs up to the loungeroom – it is also a natural thoroughfare between the kitchen and deck (although there is an alternate path down the stairs and past the bathroom) and appears it may have been the original loungeroom. If you are a couple or parent/s with child/ren then this is probably not a big deal but if you are friends, or two couples it’s helpful to know one of the bedrooms has no privacy and while it is beautifully appointed, can leave you with the feeling you are sleeping in the loungeroom. • The actual loungeroom is upstairs up some steep steps which may be tricky if you find stairs challenging, but once you are up there it is lovely and comfortable TIPS: • BYO facewashers • The trivia night (Wednesday) at Lake Cathie Tavern is good fun All in all, it is a lovely home best suited to a couple or family.

I loved the house, location, cleanliness and the fact they provided all necessities and incidentals. The recommendations on where to eat from the owner was perfect. Great place and thoroughly recommended.

This is the most magical cottage in a lovely location overlooking the sea , there is only one street in front . There is everything you could want or need in the kitchen . Watch the morning sun over the ocean from the top balcony , relax in the hammock on the afternoon. Pet friendly . Stunningly decorated we loved it 💓💓😁😁🐶🐶😎😎

Really appreciated the ammenities such as the projector, speaker and rotating pantry. The location was good. Really enjoyed the deck and a nice kitchen to cook in.
