Great little cottage for a couple or maybe a small family (two bedrooms). We were repeat visitors, three years apart and were very pleased to see the place was in excellent condition and with a recently renovated bathroom. Very good facilities including a large drop down screen and projector. Extremely well equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances. Super location a couple of yards away from a reserve access to the ocean beach. Ridgeline location affording super views out to sea from the generous and well appointed deck areas. Super-friendly and communicative appointment staff who were genuinely interested in our experience being a great one. We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage as a good value for money couples getaway. If pushed for a negative the only one we could mention is that the property has several levels and stairs that might be a little challenging for elderly or infirm folk. But that aside, We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage as a good value for money couples getaway.

Everything Our stay was relaxing, extremely comfortable and peaceful. The property was so well appointed and a great location to the beach. We loved that our dog could come away with us and we enjoyed every moment of our stay at Lake Cathie … thank you !!

White Beach Cottage was like a home away from home - everything we needed during our stay was there. Everything was thoughtfully put together, very clean and tidy, and clearly well maintained. Balcony and enclosed deck area were both perfect for taking in the ocean view. A 2-minute walk to the beach in one direction, and a 4-minute walk to the supermarket in the other, made things very convenient. Will definitely look to book again.

We loved our stay at the beach cottage. The communication from the pre-arrival process through to the personalised hand written notes and the welcome pack of food and drink made the whole family feel welcome. The house was clean and well maintained, had great appliances (central air, a proper coffee machine with a hopper full of beans was a very welcome touch, and the kids went nuts over the projector!) and plenty of spaces for everyone. The back decks were the perfect place to relax and the views were incredible. Allowing our pets to come and stay with us further set this place apart from others - and the inclusion of some doggy treats with the welcome pack showed a lot of thought. The stay at the beach cottage really made the holiday for us. Thanks!

This is one of best air bnb ever stayed at by far... the thought into the amenities and provisions was wonderful. easy process and good information at the house. The cottage is gorgeous and fully equipped and lovely views and outside area. My two little dogs loved the ability to be able to run around the back yard as well. I also left some toiletries and the owner very kindly offered to post to me, so above and beyond in my view.

Decor, furnishings abd gardens were special and lovely. Adored the plants and books. Beds were super comfortable. The projector was a great addition and we relaxed in several spaces. So many amenities !

This lovely house was perfect for our stay, with thoughtful touches that made everything relaxing and enjoyable. Plus, it was great to have our two mini schnauzers with us! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, lagoon, and cafes. We loved the generous welcome hamper and well-stocked pantry; it had everything we needed for our few days in Lake Cathie. The hosts were super communicative and shared great local tips. The kitchen had quality appliances, and the main bedroom had beautiful views and opened onto a private deck. We even spotted whales from the upstairs living area! The deck was perfect for lounging and reading, and the large, fully fenced yard was a hit with our dogs. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!
